World Young Drivers Academy announces the addition of Guido Ebergenyi to its programme. The ten-year-old international karting driver, who currently competes in the Mini category with MP Academy Gamoto, will be supported by WYDA through a structured pathway covering management as well as technical, physical and mental preparation.
Born in Abu Dhabi on 13 December 2015, Guido holds Mexican and Italian nationality and has Serbian heritage. Now based full-time in Italy, he brings to WYDA a genuinely international profile, with strong connections to Mexico, Italy, Serbia and the United Arab Emirates.
The main goal is to guide him through a comprehensive and progressive development project, designed to further enhance his potential at the highest levels of international karting while laying solid foundations for his transition to single-seater racing.
Guido began building his reputation in 2023, when he became Rotax Micro Max Champion in Turkey and emerged as one of the youngest drivers to achieve podium success in the UAE championship. During the 2024-2025 UAE season, he finished runner-up in the IAME UAE U10 category, claimed multiple rookie and U10 podiums and secured third place overall in the UAE Rotax Micro Max Championship, competing against a field of more than 40 drivers. He also won the UAE Rotax Ranking, earning the opportunity to compete internationally at Le Mans.
His first full European campaign in 2025 further demonstrated his ability to perform in highly competitive environments. He finished runner-up in the Trofeo delle Industrie at Lonato after winning every qualifying heat and fighting for victory in the Final. At the RMC Grand Festival in Sarno, he took second place, missing victory by just 0.013 seconds. At Le Mans, following a technical issue, he recovered from the back of the field to finish 12th while setting the fastest lap of the event. Another notable comeback followed at Franciacorta, where he climbed from 48th to 17th position.
In 2026, Guido has continued his development in the WSK Super Master Series and the Italian ACI Karting Championship, regularly competing against fields of 50 to 60 drivers.
His preparation extends well beyond race weekends. His on-track preparation is supported by Focuz. With more than 45,000 Instagram followers and a monthly reach regularly approaching 500,000 accounts, his profile combines sporting potential, personality, international visibility and measurable value for partners.

Our aim is to support his development with method, consistency and a complete programme covering every aspect of his sporting and personal growth.”
Guido is currently completing his final season in the Mini category and preparing for his planned move to OK-Junior in 2027. This transition will represent the next important step in a long-term project built around performance, technical development, personality and international communication.
With the addition of Guido Ebergenyi, World Young Drivers Academy further strengthens its mission: to identify young talents, support them through a multidisciplinary approach and build for each of them a credible, ambitious and sustainable pathway from karting to the highest levels of international motorsport.
Following a difficult weekend at Franciacorta, where he sustained an injury during the opening round of the WSK Final Cup, he is now focused on his recovery and is scheduled to return to racing at the Leopard Circuit in Viterbo on 12-13 September for the the IAME Series Italy round.
