Guido Ebergenyi was among the frontrunners at Viterbo in the final round of the Italian ACI Karting Championship. Competing in MINI Gr3 with MP Gamoto Academy and the support of WYDA (World Young Drivers Academy), he consistently showed strong pace, securing a solid ninth-place finish in the Final.
After qualifying just outside the top 10, Ebergenyi finished eleventh in the first heat. He went even better in the second, starting from the fourth row and gaining one position to cross the line in seventh. He then finished eighth in the third and final heat.
His improving form earned him a third-row start for the Pre-Final, in which he secured tenth place. Starting the Final from twelfth on the grid, Ebergenyi gained three positions to finish ninth.
The result further underlines the progress of the young WYDA driver, who had secured the runner-up spot in the X30 MINI championship standings with a fifth-place finish at the same circuit in Lazio just two weeks earlier in the IAME Italy Series. That result also earned him a place at IWF26, the series’ flagship event, which will also take place at the Leopard Circuit from 19 to 24 October.
